okay...

I just went back (for kicks and giggles) and read my very first post from 2009 and I guess when I started this blog I was at 160lbs. So at 150lb...it's coming slow, but at least it's going in the right direction. Again any tips to help me jump passed this 145-150 wall. Appreciated. :o)

quick update

I decided to make things just a bit different today and actually did the 30 Day Shred (level 3) rather than the Inside out method. First time I've done level three and boy was it damn hard!

I checked my weight afterwords before my shower (Tuesdays is the day I've been checking) and my weight was 150lbs...which if I recall is up 2lbs from last week. The past month or so I seem to be fluxuating between 147-150. Not fun. So any tips that might help me get passed this wall would be very much appreciated.

I should really get my measurements sometime...not today though. Don't really feel like it. I know, bad attitude to have, but as it is I'm already going to get about 6 or so hours of sleep and I DO work tonight so I should try to get to bed.

not much...

I just wanted to stop in and post that I did Bob Harper's hour long strength workout today for the first time. It's one of four (I believe) of his Inside Out Method DvD set. So...we'll see how that goes. I made it thru today (pouring sweat and tears) with a few stops to let my head stop spinning and allow my stomach to settle. Yeah...not fun at all, but I think I'm gonna try to keep at it and hopefully it will help.
Now to just start getting my diet on track...

Wow! Long time...lets see if I can get myself back on track!

Just a quick post to say that I'm back! With hopefully a little more push in me than the last time! Not a whole lot today. Just gonna say that I'm officially counting my calories (as of today) again via the livestrong site and I started jogging today...with a little walking...but more jogging than walking. :o) In my next post I'll try to get in my weight and measurements so they're updated.

Get ready for a sexier future me! :o)

Entry #4: No update this week. Sorry...

I actually didn't weigh myself this week as we weren't at Grandma's on our regular night so I really didn't think about it. I'm still trying to watch what I eat though and be more active. I have actually had multiple people start telling me that they can tell I'm losing weight (which is nice since I haven't taken any pictures yet and can't really tell myself just looking in the mirror). I will update again next week after my weigh in for both weeks. I hope everyone is doing well with their own goals. Much love.

Entry #3: Still going.

Well, I was pretty surprised last night when I weighed myself and the number actually wasn't higher than last week! It just felt like a really bad week, but I guess I was doing better than I thought I was. ^_^

Weight
Last: 159 lbs
Current: 157 lbs
Lost: 2 lbs

Measurements (approx from what I remember from last night...)
Chest: 41 in
Waist: 41 1/2 in
Hips: 41 3/4 in

So, yeah...need to work on those measurments I think. lol.

Not much else to post right now. Wish me luck for next week!

Entry # 2: Getting going, Slowly but Surely

Well, since my first post I've continued to watch how much I've been eating and I've still been trying to get out and get a little bit of exercise in when I can. So far things seem to be going pretty well and I'm hoping that they continue to.

I'm excited to get my point counter in the mail from Jess so that I can start using it and getting a better idea of how much I should be actually eating each day. I didn't get around to checking my measurement at Grandma's last night so that won't be posted again...perhaps I'll get that done when we go for dinner next week. So, just the weight again today.

Weight
Last Weight: 160
Current Weight 159
Difference: 1 (Woot!)

So small number for my first week (although 1 IS half of the healthy 2 so I'm still happy). ^_^

Lets keep pushing guys! We can do this!
